The Rautenberg Moritz team advised Protection One GmbH on the acquisition of ela Werder Sicherheitssysteme GmbH. Signing of the transaction took place in late December 2020, closing is expected for March 2021.

Protection One is a leading provider of technology-driven security solutions, offering mission-critical remote monitoring services to enable relevant 24/7 real-time intervention. With its own emergency call and service control centre, high-performance technology and tailor-made installation offering, the company provides all security services for currently 14,000 objects from a single source. Protection One realises an audited 97% intrusion prevention rate through dedicated live vocal confrontation of penetrators. The company was founded in 1997 and has since grown into a team of over 240 people at its headquarters in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf and 8 locations across Germany.
